JLAFit Athletics is a gym that provides strength and conditioning small group training classes and 1:1 Private coaching for athletes.
We work with "everyday" athletes who are committed to investing in and improving their physical fitness in order to be the fittest husband, wife, son, daughter friend, and/or executive they can be.
We also specialize in sport specific training for all levels of athletes (professional, collegiate, high school, youth, and amateur) who are committed to investing in and improving their performance in Football, Baseball, Golf, Soccer, Hockey, Tennis, Long Distance Running, and many others.
Jesse La Forgia, the owner and head coach of JLAFit Athletics, brings over 20 years of coaching experience across New York and Texas. With certifications from USA Weightlifting (USAW), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and EXOS Performance, Jesse is well-equipped to guide athletes of all levels.
Deeply committed to his faith, Jesse strives to honor God through both physical and spiritual excellence. His coaching philosophy integrates a pursuit of God’s glory with a dedication to improving athletic performance. Each program he designs not only enhances physical capabilities but also fosters a spirit of humility, gratitude, and teamwork, reflecting his belief in the importance of spiritual growth alongside athletic achievement.
